Ministries At Bonsack

There are many ways to get involved in the life of Bonsack United Methodist Church. We are a vibrant church family and are excited about the ways in which God is working in and through our lives. Click on the icons below to learn more about what we do.

  • Children's Ministry

The purpose of the children's ministry is to impact the children of our community with the message of Christ's unconditional love, encouraging them to grow in a personal relationship with Christ through biblical teaching, role modeling and self-esteem building in a variety of experiences.

  • Student Ministry

BUM Youth is the student ministry at Bonsack United Methodist Church. Our mission is to build relationships and encourage students to become passionate follower of Christ. And as we get to know Jesus, we get to know each other too - in small groups, Bible studies, our own Sunday night worship, mission trips, and other special events.

  • Adult Ministry

United Methodists vow to be loyal to Christ through the United Methodist Church and to faithfully participate in its ministries by their prayers, presence, gifts, service and witness. There are many opportunities for adults here to practice these vows through activities such as: Communion Servers, Ushers, Liturgical Readers, Greeters, Nursery Workers, Music, Family Promise, Teachers, Backpack Ministry and so much more.

  • Music Ministry

Worship is a big part of what we do at Bonsack UMC. We offer a variety of ways for people to use their musical gifts to praise our Creator. Whether it be with handbells, children's choir, youth band, adult choirs or our adult or youth bands, there is a place for you to join with us.

  • Mission & Outreach Ministry

The overall purpose of the Outreach Ministry is to share God's love by serving those in need outside of our church. The aim of the Outreach Ministry is to act as the hands and feet of Christ by caring for those in need. We do this by filling backpacks for hungry children, providing uniforms for local choirs, partnering with Family Promise, tutoring children in the COP program, and much more.
